They were done by genuine master armorers and 'smiths, and the .308's were made to especially tight specifications. However, ALL the gas cylinders were bored out, and the pistons on the operating rod ends were all larger than specification. This is O.K. operationally, but if you change out rods, you'll generally have to find an oversized piston.

The downside is your rifle is out of commission for a while. I’ve done a side by side comparison and the Shooting sight trigger is as good as the professional jobs on my rifles.
