Joan Skwarchuk Owner/Operator Joan Skwarchuk (nee Michael) was born in Kingston, Ontario and grew up in Oshawa. Joan and Bill met at school in Oshawa and were married in 1968. They have resided in Bradford for over 49 years where they have raised their 2 daughters. Joan supports the family and staff with the day-to-day needs of the funeral home.
This includes one day of visitation, a funeral service in the Skwarchuk Funeral Home Chapel followed by cremation, burial or entombment. A casket will need to be selected.

About Us The community of Bradford West Gwillimbury was first served with a funeral home in 1836 by the Kilkenny family. Neil Lathangue took ownership in 1950 to 1963 who served the community for 24 years. Mac Lewis owned the funeral home between 1963 and 1973.
