DIMAS sends your appeal to the appeal commision (LAR). If the LAR decides to hold a hearing you will be invited. Within 4-8 weeks after the LAR hearing, the appeal commission sends an advisory letter to DIMAS. Within 6 weeks after the receipt of the LAR advisory letter, DIMAS is required to re-evaluate the decision.
DIMAS is currently in a transition phase, we will soon be moving completely to the new customer portal, where making an appointment for submitting your permit application is no longer necessary.

Important Notice – Temporary Policy Change Effective , the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Labor have temporarily changed the work permit application process. Applicants no longer need to visit the DPL for the labor market test and may now submit their application directly at DIMAS. This is a temporary policy adjustment.
