XP Pro won't boot after hibernate? I manually put my XP Pro (SP3) notebook system go into hibernate (something I have done many times) to bring it downstairs, and when I powered it back on, it went through POST, blinked the disk light and does nothing further - I have a black screen and a blinking cursor in the corner.
i have no clue about pc's or how any of this stuff works. but i know that my pc is not supposed to restart after it wakes up from sleep. Everytime i put the pc into sleep and then wake it up it comes on for a few seconds then turns off/restarts again.
