Hyatt | World of Hyatt - Hyatt House Charlotte/Center City, NC - REVIEW - MASTER THREAD - I stayed here for one night last week and found it to be good value. The East Trade Street location made for an easy walk to virtually anyplace in the business district.
The Hyatt Place is SO inexpensive compared to either other Kyoto option, and if it were two rooms then I would definitely go for HP. I am leaning toward PH, despite the crazy-busy neighborhood and rather inconvenient transportation to and from the hotel.
Park Hyatt Tokyo, despite Japan's sluggish economy, the hotel managed to redefine the luxury boutique hotel concept in a most pleasant and contemporary way. It boosts the average of 95% occupancy rate; now that is a remarkable achievement in light of the current economy.
