Re: boat in my driveway??? Around here it?s pretty common for communities or homeowners associations to have covenants against storing a boat on your property. There are no local laws against it but the agreement not to store a boat is written into your deed. Check with your homeowners association for such covenants and if they don?t exist I?d fight it in court.

Re: Homemade boat cover bows / poles I needed to raise the stern part of the cover a couple feet, so I buil;t a frame back there: put 2' long pieces of broomstick in the rod holders, then got a piece of 2" PVC the width of the boat, and put a 90* bend in each end to fit over the sticks. You should use new when you wish an object to remain in existence until you delete it. If you do not use new then the object will be destroyed when it goes out of scope.
