i have a Holley 650 double pumper. this was a problem of backfiring, I bought a kit and I redid everything but still gets this. I tried all possible combos but you can not have the right carburetor. blacks and the venturi becomes primary.
Holley Street HP 850 - 1.688" throttle bore, 1.563" venturi (how could that flow the same as above?) Holley classic 1000HP - 1.750" throttle bore, 1.561" venturi (haven't we seen this combo with another name?) Plenty more when you get into Demon and Quickfuel dimensions and their 'names'. These new Holley carbs have a lot of adjustability. (Maybe too much) I don't know how we ever got down the road with the older, simple models.
