Hello, So far I've been using OEM Mazda oil filter, but it's too expensive where I live. I was wondering about the quality of the Purolator One oil filter, is it good enough? My car is 2016 Mazda 3, 2.0L engine.
Call Purolator with your particular oil filter number & ask for it's "Specification Sheet". It will include it's efficiency. You can request for both the One & Boss OR let us know which filter model because I and others have posted several sheets here already so that could save you a step.
The Purolator looks quite good as well. The Wix seems to do alright in the loading phase, but it seems that they either cut the test short, or that they just took fewer measurements, in which case the x-axis doesn't actually represent elapsed time.

Never had a problem with Purolator filters. That being said, the best filter is a new one that meets your vehicles' specs and changed often. Hmm. This implies all filters meeting a vehicle's specs are exactly the same.

For me, purolator constructed filters all the way, if they make it i trust it Motorcraft,Bosch,Proline,Purolator itself, etc. If they had a hand in making it i will use it. Wix is not bad, just have not used them yet, when i can get a purolator for less than napa and still have a good product.
