Tax Information – Educational Tax Credit (Form 1098-T) Families filing a U.S. tax return may be eligible for educational tax credits when claiming their Purdue student as a dependent. In mid-January of each year, the Office of the Bursar will generate an IRS Form 1098-T necessary to file for these tax credits. The 1098-T will be provided electronically via the student’s account.
