Since the house is new construction a new Verizon cable drop was installed and a new account was created. Tried to switch to Verizon FiOS cable. They will not provide a card. They are forcing happy TiVo users off of the best platform and leaving the device obsolete. They suggest using the Xfinity or FiOS streaming bundle to watch programming on any device. Any way to get and activate a card?

I've recorded FIOS 4K content using both my Tivo and an HDHomerun Prime and then transferred that content to my computer for analysis. It is indeed 4K and in some cases HDR, depending on whether it was recorded in 4K/HDR or just 4K. On verizon fios. Tried all the video resolution settings: all/1080i/1080p etc. Takes 10-12 seconds for channel banner to disappear until channel changes. Any good suggestions ?

Deleted app. Went to Play Store to re-install and the DJI fly app is no longer there?? !!! Luckily the IPAD DJI Fly App still works, so I can at least fly with the IPAD. I have Android 12 running on a Samsung Galaxy S20 Note, and it worked just fine a couple of days ago. The weather here has taken a turn for the worse, so I can't go check it today.

I hope you don't mind a link to additional info on installing the Google Play store on the Smart Controller. I used the method outlined and have had no problem. Again, not all Google app store apps will work but others do including Google Maps, Google earth and other mapping software and things that rely on location data.
I personally store my Mini 3 Pro batteries at the 2-1/2 lights level (2 of the 4 lights lit and a third one flashing). And I check them monthly to ensure they aren't self-discharging. You can also buy fireproof Li-Ion storage bags and boxes which in theory will protect your house if a battery decides to go up in flames.
While the Android OS is open source and free to anyone to build a hardware device around, Google has strict requirements about what must be present on the device in order to ship with the Google Play Store and other Google services. It doesn't look like DJI wanted to meet all of those requirements for the Smart Controller.
