Flatlands is a neighborhood in the southeast part of the borough of Brooklyn in New York City. The current neighborhood borders are roughly defined by the Bay Ridge Branch to the north, Avenue U to the south, Ralph Avenue to the east, and Flatbush Avenue to the southwest.
In the 21st century, Flatlands remains one of Brooklyn’s most stable and distinctly low-rise neighborhoods. The houses built in the early 20th century still define its streetscape—brick two-family homes with driveways, lawns, and gardens that evoke a suburban rhythm rare within city limits.
Then we discovered Flatlands, a mid priced extensive menu with lots of choices, good service. The bar has every brand you might want. The prices are mid ranged, though a few are expensive (over $35) but all in all, a family will have a great choice of some of the best Cajun food I have had.
