Traditionalists, born 1900–1945, currently make up less than 2% of the US workforce (which Pew admits may be a bit of an overestimate) and 9.8% of the population. Though their numbers may be small, they’ve left a lasting legacy on how we approach work.
All traditionalists share a few hallmark traits. Among them are traditional morals, a burning desire for government reform, and a strong distaste for progressive societal values. As with any sect, though, sub-stereotypes exist. In traditionalists circles, there are five types of people.
